Yup. I'm putting the Shark up for sale. Truck has been a beast and treated me right for the last 18 months, but I'm seriously considering buying a gooseneck trailer soon and want the stability a dually will bring.

A few down and dirty details about it.
2003
F250
7.3 Power Stroke
Auto transmission (Jasper reman unit installed by a previous owner. According to records that came with the truck it has about 60k on it right now. No issues.)
Electronic Shift On the Fly transfer case with vacuum initiated hubs.
Dana 60 front, confirmed the BOM with the Dana/Spicer catalog on that. 3:73 gears.
Four wheel disc brakes
Ranchhand bumpers front and rear
Lariat XLT model with the Off Road package

Truck currently has 203k miles on it and it will continue to go up until the weather warms up or we get in to our new place. Whichever happens first.

I'll get some pics and a novel of details up on it in the next few days, as time allows. But if you are interested, shoot me a PM and I'll forward you the draft manuscript now. Not particularly interested in trades, unless you have a 7.3, 6 speed dually in the 99.5-03 body style you are looking to part with that has similar miles. icon biggin

Good question. I dropped the block off with Stan at Rocky Mountain Machine a few weeks ago and told him "when you get the time". Two pistons were nuked in the cylinders. After boiling the block, he's going to have to rough bore it .020 just to get the aluminum slag off the walls so he can tell me if the walls are cracked.

So, long story short: if the block isn't cracked, I'll keep it and build a spare motor. If it is cracked, I'll part it out. It does have forged connectin rods after all. icon biggin

I am surprised Zack. You know, if you cut that lift in half, you'd gain a lot of stability.

I'm sure it would JD. Unfortunately, the short bed is starting to piss me off to the point that I am regretting it. I can't even put a sheet of plywood in the back without dropping the tailgate or propping it up on the same.

Send me the info on it, I have a power stroke in my future, I was thinking of doing it in 6 mos or so but I might jump sooner if the right one comes along.

Sorry man. Completely forgot about this. Keeping off the market due to the work trip.
