My vote is below the bedrail inside the cab. Only time I see bedliner go over the rail is work trucks. Broncos are play toys not work trucks smokin

True but I'm a little concerned about putting on and taking off the top. Last thing I want is scratched paint.

Jesus_man wrote:You want it for protection. In that case, I would have him stop where the bedrail begins to slope down to the quarter panel. What does your painter suggest?

J.D.

He wants to stop before the rail on the inside, at the edge.

Any one have pictures with it over the bedrail? I don't want it to look rediculous when the top is off.

Chad has a point. IIRC you're building something to look nice, but also for tooling around in the mountains right? You might get lucky pulling the top once or twice without a scratch, but you will eventually scratch it. Not a bronco, but here's a pic:

Wish this guy had a better pic. Look like he did it.

Found this one on CB. Not sure if I like how far down the liner goes. What do you think about where I drew the black line? Where Jesus suggested?

Well, since you asked...

Got it back from the painter on Monday and I was so excited I decided to take yesterday off from work so I could put it back together. I was so busy yesterday with the Bronco I didn't have anytime for web wheeling or pic posting.

I got brakes and steering installed and then I moved onto the interior. Got the seats, center console and roll cage installed.

Had a little time left in the day so I installed the fan shroud. FYI, the fan shroud from a mid 90s V6 Ford Ranger fits like a glove on the early Bronco radiator with an Explorer front dress. I'll shoot a couple pics tonight and post them later.

Everything is a little dusty but should clean up nice.

There is a harness bar with 2 tabs for the shoulder straps. Lap belts will use the original seatbelt holes in the floor.

You may want to consider installing another bar farther up on the cage. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1189&p=15344&hilit=harness#p15344

Go to your local welding supply shop and get a nice welding blanket and you should be fine. I bought mine at airgas and it's very plyable, just like a blanket on your couch.

Spark and fuel - 2 things that I have learned we really need to make our rigs run.

it's ok - between yours and Ent's rigs. I am certian ours will be so ashamed of itself that it will never leave the yard... Take your time, enjoy the process...

Got my rear flares put on last night. The black flares really change the way it looks! Also got the most important part of the Bronco installed....Fender Emblems!

Couldn't find the camera this morning so I'll post a pic up later.

Been kindof busy at work and a little burnt out with the bronco so I haven't done much lately. Was saving some $$$ for a wiring harness and gas tank.

I picked up a Centech Harness from Bronco Hut today and the gas tank is on order with BCBs. Appearently the NWMP tanks are on back order - got an email from Chuck today that said I won't get it for about 3 months.

So...see you guys on the trail next summer bangtard banghead

Seriously though, I'm hoping they are over estimating.
