Post Hollister Hills OHV
Did a little run to Hollister on Saturday with a local club. Only three of us showed. One guy fairly familiar with the park, while myself and the other guy were just along for the ride. You might recognize the name if you were a fan of the Top Truck Challenge that was hosted here for a number of years.

Culvert/tunnel:

Teeter totter: I did finally get this, but it was harder than you'd expect. Not as simple as crawling forward and stopping just as it starts to tip.

Hill-top views looking over the city of Hollister:

Looking ESE-ish?

Some fairly steep hill climbs around with a few rocks strewn in:

Watched a taco nearly loose his rig on "truck Hill"

It was a fun day that ended early as the CJ lost his clutch somewhere after he dropped off Truck Hill. Myself and the 4dr were not brave enough to attempt Truck Hill as it is quite steep, loose and rutted. So I went and played around on some of the obstacle courses (no pictures on my phone) and the retreated to a campfire for the afternoon. This area may warrant one more trip, but there isn't enough challenging trails to keep you busy. We walked most of the Tank Trap trail. They fill in the water holes, but the "wall" is still there and the reason I had no interest in trying to climb it. The guy in the CJ wanted to prior to his clutch giving up.

The co-dawg of the CJ took lots of video, so hopefully I'll get to post that as well!

Cool little trip and Great scenery! Man if that hill looks that steep here, I'll bet it feels like you're heading Strait UP!!!
