I'm trying to find a good deal on a piece of 1/4" or thicker (1/2" or thicker ideally) plate steel. I know C&M sells scrap to the public, any other places I should be looking? I've been doing some searching online but am not finding many places that advertise as selling to the public. |

Dencol has sheets of metal and also scrap that they will sell to the public. This is where I bought my steel tubing for my rockers as well as a piece of scrap to to make the end plates. They have a sales office on location and then a couple of different warehouses that they will let you kind of pick through their scraps according to what you are looking for. http://www.dencol.com/ |

It's flexible. I'm building a welding/fab table. 6'x30" is the plan, but I can go bigger or smaller for a good deal. I also need a bunch of 2x2x1/8" tubing, some 1.75 .120 wall DOM for some add-ons to my cage. and some DOM to build new steering linkage for the FW axles. |
