Postby Stubborn3 » Tue Jan 06, 2015 5:33 am

Gonna try and get this done so I have guage lights again. Looks pretty plug and play but I was wondering can this be done quickly ie without removing the dash or do I have to reshedual this. Thanks.

If you can twist around while laying on your back and shoulders under the dash it can be done pretty quickly.

I did it recently and it was a bit challenging because I have sasquatch hands.

Patience is your friend.

This may be helpful. its the same as the bronco. worst part for me was the connector to the switch body. very stubborn!

Worst part for me was the little convex adapter that goes between the headlight switch and the back of the dash board which the bezel screws into.

Trying to coordinate that was a bitch.

Common fix for that is to tack it to the switch.

Thanks for the responses... this is why I've been putting this off and using my turn signal to see how much fuel I have.
