Postby JGZ » Sun Feb 28, 2016 6:22 pm

So I got my new to me 69 running only to find out why it probably got parked 18 yrs ago.Couldn't find one in my inventory so I guess I'll order one, unless someone has one laying around?

You may want to run some Sea Foam or ATF through the engine oil once you get it back up and running. It may help un-stick the lifters.

I did that. The thing purrs like a kitten except for the lack of one cylinder. The lifter is still in the bore,so hopefully I'll get lucky.
Anyone know the length of a 69 302 push rod?

I ended up rebuilding the carb it had on it,just because of the manual choke. If you need it back it's here.If not I'll pass it on to the next guy. Thanks for the parts though Mike,it's much appreciated.
