 alternator woes.. Ok so in the middle of my testing here on the efi. Last night I disconnected the batteries on the bronco. Today I hooked them up to run some tests on some sensors. Only hooked up for about 15-20 minutes. Just so happened to touch the back of the alternator and it was warm to the touch. What would cause that?

Re: alternator woes.. When the key is on, the field coils are energized creating a ginormous magnetic field. They get hot.
