Hydroboost on 76 bronco question

I have everything pretty much figured out for my hydroboost swap on my 76 except where to put the inline proportion valve. Does it go after the stock brake proportion block, before it or replace it? I would think before to regulate the bias to the rear and have the "benefit" of the brake warning light?

You shouldn't need another proportioning valve. '76-'77 had one. Prior years only had a distribution block.

I guess I can run without one and use the stock block and see how it goes!

I used my stock H block with my hydroboost. I had chevy disk on my rear 60. it would lock up the rear first, but not super terrible.

i have the stock drums on the rear, was reading on CB.com that most people have to put a after market proportion valve to dial down the rear bias.

Or switch the front calipers to the t-bird calipers. That pulled my bias from the rear to the front. They fit the F150 brakes, not sure about the stock Bronco disks.

I have stock brakes and prop valve with my Astro Van hydroboost and mine seems very well balanced.

So I see most are using the Camero master cylinder, is this the best one? What about an aftermarket aluminum or others? Do I need to just find one with the right bore size and passenger side outlets?

Yup got it, looking for paint that wont run at the sight of brake fluid.. eastwood makes one but its grey.. probably try the VHT paint that is for calipers.

Would love to find a nice reservoir replacement, hate that plastic one but might end up just re-using..

What did you guys do for brake lines to the frame? since the ports are on the driver side I either have to make new hard lines or go to soft line - thinking of going to softline as it will route easier and look better.
