Well, it's finally starting to happen. 2 jobs and 1 kid later I'm finally pushing ahead on my 96 Explorer swap. I removed the 302 an C4 last Saturday and sent them on their way CO Springs (thanks Dave). Also, EFI Guy currently has my harness so I feel like I'm off to a strong start.
Has anybody swapped in both an explorer motor and 4r70w from the same donor vehicle, and would be kind enough to share a few pro tips? Perhaps even a '96? I've done extensive research however there's nothing like talking to someone who's been through it. Thanks in advance!!

Hey Dan, you are about 3 months ahead of me I just bought a 96 explorer to do the same swap. Hopefully someone has some good insight to make this a long and informative build thread!!! pictures pictures are a must.
