Pitman Arm Taper Ream

Postby rt9 » Tue Oct 23, 2018 4:53 pm

Hi all,,

So I'm getting back to adding power steering to my Bronco. The box I purchased has a pitman arm with a straight bore hole. (different spline count than the original)
Does anyone have a tapered reamer to work with the ball joint or know where I can take this to be machined?
My brother is a machinist, but does not have this particular reamer.

Thanks

Rick

Ok, so I just re-read my post. The hole on the pitman arm that needs taper reamed, is the one for the ball joint on the draglink. Sorry for any confusion.
