Spoke with the seller last night. Have a friend at work in the market so I'm doing his hunting.
Direct quotes concerning the condition...
"This is the worst of the exterior rust. Drivers side under the door. There is some bondo on the rear quarter panel, but you can see the back side of it and doesn't look bad. The other rust is up in the corners of the fender wells, like in the engine compartment and pan in the rear. These are common spots for broncos and this one isn't too bad considering that."
"Te floor boards them selves seem pretty solid and don't have any obvious rust showing trough. Right in the corner where the doors meet is pretty bad on the passenger side, starting in the driver side as well"
If I find the time, I might be down there this evening looking at it. However, the "3500 standing offer" doesn't exactly bode well for negotiations lower than that if the truck isn't what it appears to be.
