I need a windshield frame!

Postby 66and70Broncos » Tue May 24, 2011 8:59 pm

I just took my top off and need a windshield frame with a lot less rust at the bottom.

I saw a stack of these at the Bronco Hut, but am not looking to spend close to $200 bucks for a used up frame. Help me out!!!

I've got a frame from a '66 sitting in the garage. It has some rust but is structurally sound and will not flop around on you. I had planned to clean it up, patch it, and resell it but I'll let it go at a steal for a club member. I'll shoot a pic tomorrow and post it up.

Thanks...Im not sure if the wipers will work with a 66 frame since they were vacuum operated...do you know. I had a 66 but have never compared the two side by side. I would like to see pics...that may answer the question. Thanks!

The '66 I had the frame on ran electric wipers so you should have no problems.

Bad news brother. During my brief absence from the boards I managed to forget I had already promised the frame to Valentino. In the event he decides to decline on it, I'll set it aside for you. Sorry.
