You make any progress? I looked at the brake light switch. Need to rotate it so it's horizontal towards the rear, if the makes any sense.

Thanks - I am really excited about how the cage turned out. I was shocked that the Corbeau seat mounts lined up perfectly for the adjustable Corbeau sliding rails and seat mounts. If they were off 1/8" they would have required major modifications. The Cage Seat Mounts add a couple of inches to the height of the seats so it may be too high for guys over 6 Foot. I am having issues with the stock wipers in the front and BesTop in the back but have found solutions for both.

Was able to get the BesTop installed this weekend . . .

It has a lot less rear travel with the cage, seats, BesTop, etc. I think I am going a 1" Body Lift to see if that will help get me some clearance. If not, it will have to get cut. I am really liking the look right now.

In Utah, they pulled over heavily modified vehicles (lifted and dropped) all the time because there was always some type of violation - too big of lift, no mud flaps, tires too wide, tint, etc. I am hoping the Po-Po's here in Colorado are lieniant with some of the things I have done, especially when it is not heavily modified just a couple of cosmetic changes. May need to run a Sticker from Tread's work to keep the Five-O away.

You could always make some stick on side markers with a solar cell inside. Pull em off when you want the clean look, stick em on when the fuzz is about.

Not sure if you could get pulled over for not having lights if they were not OEM. They're pretty lenient on tint, not so much on front license plates and having the wrong color turn signals apparently. State patrol is always the worst.

Dude -

That rig is GORGEOUS!!!!!

Amazing, and I know that you think this is taking you a very long time, but for most folks, a frame off restomod like yours is a project that takes years - as in plural years. not 1.5 years but 4.5 or 9.5 years. My 51 ford took me 9 years to complete.

You have a lot to be proud of and I can not wait to see it in person.

Great work.

Thanks guys for the nice words but seeing it in person will likely show my inexperience. Luckily, my Bronco was pretty sound mechanically so I can see how builds can go into the 4.5 or 9.5 years. I would still be staring at a half done project if it wasn't for the encouragement and great advice from the CCB club members. Have a lot of things on my to-do and hopefully this project will never be done since I need a Hobby and something to obsess over.

I should have it at the Breakfast this weekend if things go well this week.

You guys are the best to offer to help. What I meant is there will always be things to do to the Bronco next month and next year. I think I am doing good for making it to the Breakfast Saturday. I am doing Brakes tonight/tomorrow and Body Lift Friday night.

What you using to lift the body up? Porta power? That makes the job super easy. I think it's less than a c note at harbor freight. Well worth the money in the future. Comes in super handy.

CrawlerCreations made a rear tire carrier to work with my existing bumper. Really a cool design - not sure how he comes up with this stuff. I am amazed at the awesome 'Creations' he turns out. Really happy about the price, quality, beautiful welds, turn around time, etc. Nice to get the tire off the floor and onto my Bronco. Notice the 5-star patterned lug nuts smokin

Thanks Crawler!!

Installed the 1" WH Body lift - made a HUGE difference. Now I can install the air cleaner and shut the hood.

With no tailgate, no need to have a swing away. The bumper looks nice!

Thanks guys. I have been purposely leaving off pics of the tailgate delete because I was unsure of the reactions either way. For the way I am going to use it, I think it turned out good. I filled up the rear storage area with stuff so a tailgate would never have been used anyway and there is not much storage in these things! I cannot find a place to mount my 48" Hi-Lift Jack - Broncos have as much storage as a Mini or SmartCar.

Id mount it off the rear bumper behind your spare up and down or on its side wouldnt look to bad and I like the sealed tailgate idea think it looks clean
