I heard that some one in the club knows how to swap a f-150 4X4 and a 4X2 box to make a crawler box. And that they can do it in the junk yard so you only have to pay for 1 box. Does any one know who that is? and if they would be willing to show me or run out to the junkyard with me. I just dont want to pay the $600 for box already done. I have a stock bronco power steering box now and 37 inch tall tires, it does the job but bigger is better.
Thanks

Cascadejohnson is who you are wanting to talk to. He's really active on cb if you can't get him here.

Re: Power steering mods
I've got one of Cascade's 4x4x2 boxes and love it. I can press the tip of my finger against the steering wheel and turn my 35x13.5" tires on dry pavement.

Yes, you can do it and it is a pretty straight forward deal. Read everything on this link and then reread it to make sure you have it correct & then head to the junkyard. It's a good idea to just pull what you need rather than buying 2 boxes.
