Did you put a longer one on? Even after I modified the pedal, I still felt as tho my throttle was like a light switch, either on or off, no in between. Then I lengthened my bracket and finally got it how I like it.

The problem with making the lever arm longer is you lose the ability to open the throttle fully. I went a different way and made the throttle progressive. It opens very slowly at first then speeds up to full throttle. I also had to add a return spring.

Boo yaa! Bronco looks slick. Did you say cut it. So you do great body work, you ought to consider the cut-uncut look. That is a very unique setup.Image

Dan,
I have a question regarding tops...My actual bulkhead is rusted where it mounts to the windshield frame have you ever seen anyone weld in a new piece? Let me know! Your truck looks great!

Yeah, the bulkhead is only the piece behind the seats. Everything else is considered the top.

used tops aren't that expensive if you have some time on your hands to find a good deal

I already have a softtop and had an extra top but it got pounded by hail last year...I wanted to go as cheap as I could to save it but I may want to scrap it instead, thanks!

Colorado Classic Broncos is made up of all kinds of great people that just happen to share a common interest in classic Ford Broncos. I did't know I couldn't ask a reasonable question from someone who knows information I don't without someone commenting negatively...hmmm not much of a global moderator! Sorry for interrupting your build thread.

Knowing Mr. Crusher personally, I don't think you interpreted his intent correctly. I also don't believe there is a negative bone in his body. You and anyone else is more than free to ask any question he or she wants to and I'm willing to wager he would agree. Sorry for any confusion.

There wasn't any negative intention in my post..................if anything it was more of a self admission of keeping the off topic discussion going longer than it should of by responding to your question in his thread

I'll turn in my badge if it makes you feel any better

You do amazing work. I am very impressed - I think doing an EFI add is the hardest project you can do on a Bronco and to have it turn out like that is very cool.

I really like that front bumper. But the trans cooler doesnt look like its set up for dirt. You may hit that on a curb if your not careful.

Love the bumpers - crazy to think that with your fab skills that you would ever buy off-the-shelf parts. Looks great.
