DIY Alignment

Post by Entourage »

I need to do an alignment on my truck. Right now, my truck looks like the chick from the Bachelor - one eye is looking in the wrong direction. I wanna do a basic one to get the 4 tires heading straight. Anyone have a quick explanation? I will take it to a pro in the spring to get the shims and camber done, but would like something to keep me from eating up my tires in the mean time.

You want 1/16 to 1/8" toe-in on the front. Slightly pigeon toed.

So I want my truck to be cross-eyed, pigeon toed, and camel toed? My Bronco is going to look super hot. lmao

Thanks for the help guys and saving me some cash by doing it myself.

So easy a chick in a faux fur coat can do it, apparently.

Tape measure, pipe wrench and a few sockets. Done.

Chad, make sure you have the steering wheel set to dead center before you start. I'm kind of OCD about having my wheel set to center when I am driving down the road. Just finished dialing the alignment in on the Ferd last week and the steering wheel was killing me. The adjustable drag link helped make it faster but were that not the case it would have driven me crazy.
