I'll point it out now. So.... your going EFI right? most likely gonna use the BC cable throttle? So why did you leave the bell crank from the original throttle bolted up? now when you go to remove that for the cable your gonna have an ugly spot on the firewall....

I noticed that too Zoso. I have my bell crank sitting on my garage floor, waiting to be given to Landsharker.

I really learned a lot from Viper doing this trans rebuild.

I sometimes forget to to give full credit where credit is due.................

I really appreciate all the help you, Viper, and Shawn have provided through out this build.

With that in mind, time to publicly acknowledge all those that helped yesterday

Jeff,
You might consider using an explorer shift lever for the OD cancel button. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showpo ... ostcount=5

are you able to use any ford type OD off/on switch?

would you be able to use one from a Later year bronco or f150? I have one on mine and have seen a few in the yard with auto columns... not sure if they would be any easier or harder to adapt, iam sure the explorers would be the same effort but just throwing that out there.

Maybe. The explorer one would absolutely work. The lever end where it goes into the column socket is different then the Bronco lever so it would require some cutting and welding. I doubt there's a lever w/OD button that's a direct swap.

Why not use a stock looking dash mount OD switch? Mod something up similar to the hazard light through and build the OD in behind it. If you like the stock look.
