Nice work that is sweet. Glad you are up and running in time for summer, I'm impressed.

Ha, I think I inherited your belt squeal. Now that my alternator actually works I have just a split second most start ups!

Be careful what you wish for. You need to finish the body and put a few miles on that trans to make sure it doesn't squeal.

Does anybody have a 4" body lift they don't need ?

I tried to tell Phil this damn motor wouldn't fit under the hood with stock height body bushings but he just doesn't listen.

Wild horses has a damn nice Scoop that may give you the clearance you need. Airbur's scoop looks great too.

Cutting the hood may be painful so that leaves a fiberglass hood or body lift. I tried not to do a BL but needed a little more room for my 351 and air cleaner. I love my integrated WH 1" BL.

I am going to try and get away with 1" or 2".

If that doesn't get it done..........stock body mounts and a hood scoop will be in order.

Shipping that hood from California would be expensive, too. JGZ may be able to save ya some money on a hood and his design is similar.
