Efi aux tank check valve

I'm picking up more parts and wondering if I use the aux tank to transfer to the main if I need to put a check valve after the transfer pump?

I'm running a transfer pump on my bronco and I have the fuel line routed to the filler neck. I didn't use a check valve and I've never had a problem with it.
