COS- TIG welder and someone who knows how to run it

Post by akaFrankCastle »

I've got a little non-Bronco project I am working on and looking for some help. Anyone in COS have a TIG welder and experience with welding aluminum with detail?

What are you welding? If its thick, MIG may be more appropriate.

I ran into a guy in Falcon who made his own aluminum flat bed. I have his card somewhere. Let me see if I can dig it up. Not sure he can TIG, but the welds sure looked nice!

My cousin may also know of someone.

Small pieces of aluminum bracket. Need to make some small racks/holders for some equipment.

Gotcha. If you can find someone with a spool gun and a tank of straight argon that should be MIGable unless it's really thin. TIG will be a bit prettier.
