Aux tank wanted

Postby BNC04 » Mon May 06, 2013 8:26 am

Anybody happen to have one of these around that does not leak? I pulled the original tank this weekend and attempted to seal with water JB weld with no luck. Working sender is a bonus!

I'm in Longmont.
Thanks

I have one here at my shop that belongs to a friend. He said he would let it go for $75. It is plastic with a sending unit installed.

Thanks' I'll see if Zoso posts up since he is the closest.
Evergreen is a bit of a haul unless the tank will get a ride down to the flat lands any time soon.

Do you happen to have any idea when his next trip might be? I get to Ft Collins every now and then and it would be worth the trip for a tank.

The aux tanks I had I donated to the 33x2 project.

I believe it does. I can pull it and put a OHM meter on it and let you know what I find.

No need to pull it, Can probably ohm while flipping tank upside down and back. :)

Ok Great, Thanks.

Any idea if he will run through or near longmont on the way back. If not, I might take 1/2 day off Friday and run up there. Why don't you pm his contact info to me or visa versa, I'll PM you mine.
If I Cant get it Friday, it might be a couple weeks due to commits I have this weekend and 16-20th the following week.

I'll PM the rest.
Thanks

Ok - not sure how I missed this thread but I have several main and aux tanks - I have no idea what condition they are in. You are welcome to come on over and take your pick - just pay what I did for them, grand total of FREE!!! I do not think that there are any sending units included. I want to keep one of each at least until I have figured out what I am going to do with fuel storage and delivery on my build.

Let me know.

Thanks, I'm going to go with the tank that horesplay has so kindly been working with me on. It has a working sender as well which will save me that hassle. If for some reason this all falls through, I'll keep you in mind as well.
