EFI and wont start... hasn't had this issue ever in 5+ years.
I tried to take the bronco out today ( I have only driven it once after getting it back from my recent push rod issue) and it took a long crank to start. Once started it was revving from about 500rpm-1100rpm. I had to hold like 5% throttle to keep it running like this. I turned it off after running for 4-5 seconds, and now it wont start. Some times now when I turn the key, the fuel pump runs and runs for much longer than the 2 second pressurization cycle on a normal startup. And other times now when I turn the key the fuel pump runs for like .10 seconds. It wont start at all now.
I dont have a fuel pressure gauge. It has never had this issue.
I am wondering if Elite did something when putting it back together? They power washed the engine bay and now there is a white sediment residue where the water collected before drying. Maybe these minerals did something to a plug? ...just a long shot guess.
Any advice on what to try would be helpful. I dont get much opportunity to drive it and there seams to be MANY more issues than not lately.
Thanks guys,
Ryan
