Timing chain gear bolt

Postby Broncoguy73 » Tue Jun 18, 2013 6:43 pm

So I have pulled the timing chain cover of my 302 to start putting on my explorer stuff. The timing chain cover for the explorer is thinner so I have to pull of the cam that the fuel pump arm rides on. Due to taking that off the bolt is now to long and the wash now hits the guide pin. Is there a new wash and bolt I can get for a set up that doesn't use that cam for the fuel pump? Or any other solutions?

Grind the pin down a bit, tighten bolt... You might have to clearance the bolt a little as well
Your sh!* is my bread and butter!
