PS hose with 4x4x2 box

Postby Broncoguy73 » Mon Jan 06, 2014 1:04 pm

I just did the 4x4x2 box conversion and i used west coast broncos 3/4" adapter plate. Now i can get my line onto the box due to my fitting hitting the frame. Any ideas???

Is my only option to get a power steering hose made that screw straight into the box and not use AN fittings? And hope the clears the frame.

What kind of 90's do you have. Right now I have AN fittings and I thing that part of the problem is I have to use a adapter to go from the box thread to AN

There are low profile 90 degree (non adapter) fittings out there, I think we used them on Willem's Bronco. When he gets home from school I'll look at his setup.

so then does that -6AN 90 you have screw straight into the box making it so I wouldn't have to use the blue adapter shown in the pic?

No luck using Willem's setup, he has an adapter. I bet E&H (http://www.emrickandhill.com) can solve the problem locally. Hopefully Trei has a solution.

Now that I look at it again it needs to be inverted flare.

I will look at Drews tonight, I do not recall having any issues with the lower hose clearance. We are also in HR so you are welcome to swing by and take a look at his set up.

Thanks Trei, I just sent you my info. Is that 90 -AN on both sides? If so then yes that should work great.

Hockeydad- If Trei's fitting doesn't work I'll let you know and maybe I'll come look at Drew's set up.
