1976 Bronco - Nice Parts SOLD

Postby BFD305 » Thu Jan 16, 2014 8:07 am

It's looking like College and life is making the Bronco too impracticable of a vehicle...

Here's what it has:
Factory Power Disc Brakes - Booster new 2 years ago
Big Bearing 9" Rear Diff - Seals replaced
Factory Power Steering

Floors were replaced and interior has been sprayed with a liner (professionally, not store bought)
Still has original paint except rear quarters and tailgate
Window frame is solid
Door areas are solid
Body is good
Hard top, bikini top, and a soft top that needs work
door inserts
soft doors

Pre-Runner style front bumper with Warn winch
Wild Horses Rear Bumper with spare tire, gas can and cooler mount

Wild Horses soft ride lift
15 x 10 wheels
35" tires

Dual Tanks, front needs gasket replaced around sending unit

Mass Air EFI setup
Stock 3-speed and T-case

Cherokee Wiper Upgrade
Powder Coated Dash
Center console w/ stereo
Has an older Roll cage, solid. Has speakers mounted to roll bar.
Has rear seat. Front seats are replaced, non factory, decent shape
Front has shoulder belts
Front window is cracked all other glass is good.

Its been a driver so it is not perfect
It's got a lot done to it, but I would say they are always projects. The engine starts and runs great, but is no powerhouse. Could use a good clean and shine. Jonah was running without doors, doors are on, but need to be aligned better. Winch and off road lights need to be hooked up again. Gas gauge is intermittent. (usually not working) We may get to some of the stuff, but there will be plenty of little things to be done.

Update on 1/17 - Took the Bronco out today for emissions - Passed with no issues.
The Swamper Thornbirds suck - Although they have plenty of tread, they create a rough ride and are hard to balance. That said the ride is rough and new tires would make a huge difference. It ran drove fine, but needs attention to some little things. Signals are not flashing, E-Brake needs reconnected, speakers need work, wiper switch is touchy. This has been driven and "maintained" by my son for the last 3 years so it just needs little things fixed. Solid truck with lots of great parts!

I will try to get some better pics up soon.
The tailgate has rust along the bottom, has a diamond plate cover over it.
Floorboards were replaced about 4 years ago, still good. Drivers kick panel was replaced too. Rest of the floor is original and in good condition. Interior is professionally lined.

Quarters were replaced 10 years ago, still seem good.

Door jambs are good front and rear, small rust hole low on rear door jamb on both sides at that lower seem.

Windshield frame good

Rockers good, do have covers too.

Inner fender wells had rust in typical areas, it was patched on one side, replaced on the other about 5 years ago.
