There are a few versions. I know my 74 uses a 73 cam.
Its a white plastic one like this:
http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Tu ... lumn_PartsThe cam sets over, what is essentially, the "nut" the turn signal arm threads into. Sorry I don't know the proper part name. Positioned like the picture, with the arms towards the steering shaft. You push the sheet metal push nut over the flared pin on the "nut" to secure the cam.
The trickey part is bending the wire contactors *just right* so they contact the proper spots when the turn signal is activated. If the wires aren't right, your signals and brake lights won't work right.
