major windshield damage today

As I was on my way to work today and the bronco took a major hit in the windshield breaking the glass past any repair. I have called around to local shops to see how much $$$$$ it would cost. I was just checking to see if anyone knows of a cheap windshield to replace it and how hard are they to install. The $ range I found is from $200 to $350.

PS I have no idea what I hit, I think something fell off a traffic light as I was the only car on the road at the time, and it happened right as I was passing under the traffic light.

Thanks. I think I will need a new gasket for the window. How much for yours? I don't have any chrome trim on it.

Can't remember how much they are. I think i paid about 75% of retail and would be fine getting my money back out.
