Switched gears over to the power steering box. I finally got the parts in to convert it to a 4 turn box. Got it all buttoned up before Shawn had a chance to get his done.

4R70W is done. 7 clutches in the direct pack and a few other upgrades. I don't think I'll be able to hurt it with that little 355w. I'm pretty sure I got all the gaskets in this one.

Finally got the PS pump in too.

The paint on the frame was poorly done so it got stripped and cleaned up. Also found some nice cracks around the PS box holes. That will be fixed later today.

Lots of drilling and welding today. Put 1/4" plate on the sides and some tubing inside. I don't think it's going to crack again.

And this is where it finished. The Gaydos/Chaney/Warn Assembly Team worked there asses off. Jeff's pants were literally falling off at the end of the day. If you've ever spent some time in the garage with him you know what I mean.

It's a '70. Still has the D30 under it for the time being. That will change eventually. Don't want to waste effort on parts that will be going away.

Currently 4.10 with what's probably a Detroit in the rear. Don't really care what's in front but it's probably 4.10 also. This was a 6 cyl Bronco. Will be upgrading to 4.88 in the future.

Cool. Well, let me know if you want/need a 44 housing.
