Uncut Rear move back 1"???

Has anyone had to move their rear end back on their rig due to clearance issues?

Specially on like a LUBR? I have a 3.5" suspension lift and running 32's. I don't have any problems right now but read an article about it and now I'm convinced I have clearance issues!!! or I will if I do something crazy like miss the driveway and run up on the curb! HA!

Is there an easy way to adjust it backwards, or can I use a wedge or reverse wedge, or do I have to cut, weld, cut and weld?

Moving the axle back an inch is a common practice.

Just requires drilling holes in the spring perch and the plate the bug u-bolts go through.
1977 Sport, 351w OBDII EFI motor, 4R70W auto, 4:88 gears, ARB lockers, 3.5" suspension, 33" tires.

Yep, fairly easy procedure.
1973 Bronco, 351 SEFI, Locked, discs, 35's ZF-5spd and Atlas 4spd. 235:1 Crawl Ratio. It may be ugly, but it's slow.
