loud vacume sound from carb with stock air cleaner on and hood closed
New autolite 2100 . My first concern was if I had the right gasket it doesn't seem to cover the base fully is this right ( bottom left)

Depends what the passages look like under the gasket.

The question is do those two small openings that are peeking out go anywhere or are they just dead end holes in the flange?
