69 bronco stock drag link and pitman arm needed

Postby BillsFan76 » Mon Aug 24, 2015 3:31 pm

69 bronco with power steering in need of a stock drag link and Pitman arm to replace this crazy looking setup on the bronco I just purchased. If anyone has something sitting around they may have upgraded from and no longer needs, please post or send me a message, I'd like to pick it up. Thanks,

Alex

l've got a pair of tie rods ,and a drag link off of a '71...l think they will work on a 69.
no pitman arm though.
the drag link you've got looks like the one that came off my 56 pu.

I can go take a look, I think I still have the linkage from my '71 Bronco and a spare pittman arm from a '79 sitting around. If you're interested in a trip down to the Steel City let me know and I'll confirm I still have them before you head down. I had some wandering issues so I can't tell you how good the ball joints are but I think my big issue there was bushings on the trac bar. It all got replaced at the same time along with the worn out steering box.

If you're interested, I'm contemplating running off a batch of DOM steering linkages.

Justin,

What does that mean, DOM? Would that replace the factory piece I'm looking for attack to it?

Drawn Over Mandrel. You use steel tube to replace the tie rod and drag link and use much beefier tie rod ends. Major upgrade in strength.

I have a almost new (10 miles or less) tie rod and drag link that was on my 66. It's the 3 way adjustable set up that WH sells. PM if your interested. I don't have the pitman arm.
