They worked well. Such a difference in being able to walk down and up things.
Here's my action shot of the day:

About 5 miles outside of my campsite this morning my speedo went out and melted half of the speedo gear off. I pulled over because of some grinding noise and major driveline vibration. Turns out the rear output shaft was bent and rolling in an oblong pattern. Phil's best guess is the bearings were too tight and got very very very very hot.
I was able to talk to a guy who knew a guy who then sent me to THE guy that maybe had an output shaft. Well he had part of a D20 sitting next to his shop. His shop was a 1 car garage down a dirt entrance behind a cafe in town. Crazy how it only took me about 1 hour to find the only part in town that was sitting in some weeds in the side of a shop hidden in the back alley way parking lot of a Moab cafe.

We then went to the 3 parts stores in Moab to find the seal. The last place we went (NAPA) had it in stock. So probably an hour later we had it fixed and tomorrow is another day.
Welcome to Moab Viperwolf!

I hope you don't need more help but Moab 4x4 outpost has been good. And there was another shop but I can't seem to find it. I remember it being a fair bit outside town but I can't remember which end.

Was a good day. Ran a CO group on Hell's revenge graciously led by Horseplay.

And then this happened. Just finished tip over challenge and my PS box blew the seal on the shaft. Fortunately we collectively had all the necessary tools and mechanics and were able to re-use the seal, washer, and c clip to get it repaired. I ended up limping back without power steering but filled the fluid at the bottom in the parking lot and all is back to normal (but my forearms are like Popeye's now)

Did Seven Mile today, then hit the road to CA. That's a nice trail. Lost a hood pin nut on it somewhere.
