New Ranger

Spotted this in Frisco tonight. Rumor is that the new Bronco will be based on this.

So it will be much as I expected, more of a rebadged Explorer than a real Bronco.

Definitely looks like the Everest will be the Bronco.

I guess the Ford dealerships should just put up signs pointing to the J**p dealerships for people wanting an off-road vehicle, since they have apparently abandoned the idea of building a competitor to the Wrangler.

Looks a lot like what Australia calls a Ute type vehicle. And I don't think the Wrangler will survive much longer with Fiat at the wheel.

My knee jerk response was to say that they would not kill off something that sells so well.

But then I remembered that they are a non-sports car Italian manufacturer. banghead

Those Rangers have continued on in Europe since they dropped it from the US market. I think I prefer the styling of the previous generation, with a diesel motor! But a nice bumper would improve the looks of this one!
