Which model ZF is it, the 42 or 47?

The 42 or 47 thing is by year not engine size.

Even the 460 and diesel engines.

'95 through '97 were the s5-47

That's interesting, yours has the newer slave cylinder, but is a 42. I thought the difference in slave might coincide with the 42/47 change. But obviously it doesn't.
