After having the master EFIguy over for a few hours last night we were unable to get it to run. Weird thing is itll run albeit very rough WITHOUT the fuel pump. After a bit of trouble shooting and washing out the oil again we narrowed it down. Now the in depth trouble shooting starts. For some strange reason neither of us can figure out why but as soon as the key is turned to the on position it powers up all 8 injectors. They are all on/open and do not pulse. So it just fill the engine with fuel. 2 pcm's do it either tuned or factory. The harness ohm's out ok on the injector wiring. Will likely pull the upper intake off next week and start the testing of the harness. Double checking all wiring.

VROOM VROOM!!!! It's alive. Couldn't stump the master for very long. He found a corrupted pcm/tune. Once he re-created the tune we have lift off. Now to fix the leaks and burp/bleed fluids and a drive shaft Im gonna drive it around the block.

Trying to upload it to youtube now. I did post it to my FB page. I'll get another one tonight after I fix a few small leaks and flip the iac around so it'll idle on its own.

So spent all day Saturday trying to bleed the brakes. Had some messed up bleeders. Went to the parts store 4 times to finally get the correct ones. Got all those put in and no go. Front calipers are screwed up and won't stop leaking. Give up for the day. Today went and bought new calipers. Went to install and the lines don't freaking fit. So I give up. Just push it back I to the corner of the garage and let it sit. Don't see this being done anytime soon. All I wanted to do was drive it around the block.

Give it a day or to Rob. You'll get it going!

What's up with the calipers? Wrong size or a length issue? What brand of caliper?

Yes finally.

I'm running a strong hydro boost with 78 camaro master and chevy discs. It's a really soft pedal with no feedback/feeling. It stops damn good but I don't like the pedal feel. Guess that's what I get for running all chevy junk.

Pedal feel is weird with the hydraulic booster. Assuming you're bled well you get used to it. It also takes awhile to get all the air out of the booster, so it may take some more driving. You're welcome to compare against my setup at lunch on Saturday.

I think you are on the right track, getting a larger bore M/C. I added the t-bird calipers to my existing H-boost system and it softened the pedal. With the F150 calipers the pedal was very sensitive. I liked it, but it was either on or off & it had rear bias. The bigger t-bird calipers pulled the bias forward and gave a softer pedal, but it's still ok. Any bigger, and I think I'll be looking for a different m/c too.

the camaro master is 1 1/8" bore already. I guess I'll find out how well it works tomorrow hopefully. I plan to bleed them some more when I get home from work just to be safe.
