Toys for Tots December 3rd, 2016

Post by Rox Crusher »

Doing a little research this morning and found several different groups doing caravans to support the Marines Toys for Tots drive event which is at Lincoln Tech on December 3rd.

Would there be enough interest amongst our group to have our own caravan or do we want to tag along with another group ?

Either way, let's do it !

Looks to me like we have some good interest, about 10 guys saying they are in.

I'll work on figuring out a breakfast meet up place which is somewhat central to the participants.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a restaurant nearby to Lincoln Tech ?

I'm thinking we could meet for breakfast at 8 or 9 and then go over as a group after breakfast.

I'm busy with work all week and haven't had time to research it.

The place we met up last year worked pretty well. I can't remember the restaurant name though. it was just a 5 or 10 minute drive to the event.

That's the one. I don't remember the food but I do remember the coffee being plenty warm after the drive up.
