Got the winch installed and working today. Took Landshark's idea to put the solenoid under the battery. I actually attached it to the battery tray as well as the wireless remote electrical box. That made it really easy to get everything tightened down before re-installing the tray. I even got the wiring figured out and in the correct in/out order in the first try (if you know my history, I seem to rarely get it right on the first attempt). Still hate my front bumper but that's up next...

Ready for some snow wheeling now!

Mike, that turned out really great.

You got it for a steal and it cleaned up real nice.

Thanks for the compliments guys- I am happy with how it turned out and am happy with pulling the trigger on the 8274. Still need to test it under load but I would be surprised if there were issues there... Per Kinder's suggestion, I ordered up these for the motor connections...
