Posting on CB.com issues

Post by Eck »

I've noticed over the last few weeks that when I post over on the CB site, my comments must be approved by admin before posting (no they are not inappropriate). I responded to a couple threads over an hour ago and they still haven't posted. I'm using Tapatalk if that might have something to do with it?

Anyone else having this happen to them? Are they starting to moderate our freedom of speech?!

I'm not sure what is going on but no way can I believe that anyone is having to review and approve every post.

The guy that runs that site is rarely on there.

I would suspect some sort of tech delay.

I've posted on a couple of topics this week with no issues. As soon as I hit post reply it pops right up. PM Jon (Admin) and ask what's up.

I PM'd him and he said that shouldn't be happening and that it shouldn't be an issue with TapaTalk either. He said that technically they do monitor for new posters and especially if they are posting pictures or links so that they can try to screen out the phishers and scammers.

Interesting that they monitor at all.....I thought they just relied on the group to self regulate / report funkiness. Since your not new over there it doesn't seem like it would apply to you.

Fess up, you must have mentioned that you were considering swapping an LS motor into your Bronco.

:laughing2: There's your problem. Aren't we all suppose to be cruising down the road open exhuast @ 120 dB, getting 2mpg and clubbing baby seals or something?

Baby seals taste almost as good as spotted owls.
