Scrap metal and a winch

Post by mickphatmac »

Off my '68, it is what it looks like. If you're interested in the winch, there are No controls or wires or any kind of hookups that come with it. I don't know if it works and it's not very big, maybe best suited for a four wheeler?

If you're interested I can take a better picture of the tag that's on it, but it's pretty faded.

Come get it!!!

I think that would be good to mount on a small lift that I have. Would you be willing to throw 12v at it to see if it spins?

OK, so I don't know if I did it right but I tried hooking 2 wires up to the only 2 things that looked like they accepted electricity and ran it to my battery.
I tried it both ways + -, and - + and at one point I heard it click but nothing ever moved? The wire I used was super small so maybe it wasn't drawing enough current??? The loop of wires was actually getting HOT in between the Battery and the winch.

So, I'm not sure about this thing!??
