760 and 297 are the same size, just different part numbers. The 5-760x is the newer version, forged if I remember correctly, non-greasable version. 5-297 is the same dimensions, but less strong and greasable. This all the newer D44 sizes, full with '76+ D44, etc... Same as modern Jeep D44s.
The 5-260 is the original EB D30 and D44 stock size U-joints.
If you're planning to install the actual Spicer 5-760x U-joints, I wouldn't bother with aftermarket cromo shafts, you'll tear up the axle ears as the U-joint tears itself apart.
I can help if you just want some stock HP D44 outer stubs, no joy for cromo or HD U-joints.
