IΓÇÖm interested in 2 or 3, IΓÇÖll just have to find more later...whatΓÇÖs the widest tire you can fit on a 7ΓÇ¥ rim functionally?

10.5 no problem but the chain tire places probably wonΓÇÖt mount them. Just their policy, nothing wrong with it.

I should have two left

Yea maybe it was the 5.5ΓÇ¥ wide steel wheels on 9.5ΓÇ¥ or what ever the 30ΓÇÖs were.

12,5ΓÇ¥ width on 7ΓÇ¥ rim, is this safe? IΓÇÖm not being sarcastic by any means , just green to the tire realm. Would the center of tread wear out first or am I misinformed about this characteristic of ΓÇ£tread-wider-than-lipsΓÇ¥.
Maybe thatΓÇÖs only a concern for low-profile racecar tires?

I really like the look of wide mudders, but maybe theyΓÇÖll cause wandering back & forth. IΓÇÖm sure pie cutters maintain a much more straight path on the road?

Comments & info welcome!

Thanks

I believe that you would want a 15x8 for a 12.5 wide tire. People have run the 15x7 with that tire but with a 5.5 inch difference between the tire width and wheel, you will probably have trouble getting them mounted.
