Got the new column in. It's a tad too short, but it'll work fine. Tomorrow, the lower steering shaft and steering wheel go back on.

Installed a free window sticker from Wild Horses. They also sent me a cool t-shirt. Surprising what you can get thrown in when you cry uncontrollably on the phone about the cost of new 31 Spline HD axles
No surprise, the axles, bearings, bushings, and retainers that Jim recommended fit perfectly.

Unspooled my winch and put a new end on the line so I can respool it and hope it holds the weight. I need to source some sticky back rubber strap to spool on the drum first to help the cable bite.

I have only got the sticker and t-shirt for free on my last order but crying to another man cost me my dignity

I wanted to try the Window Sticker out for research for CCB Club Window Stickers to see the size, height, width, font, and if the stickers should stick on the inside or the outside of the window. This one sticks on the inside and I definitely prefer them to stick on the outside since I have a few bubbles.
I think the sticker looks like that is the name of my truck instead of advertising for WH. Kinda makes my truck look like a boat lol. I would suggest they add 4X4.com to the end of the sticker.
I definitely don't notice the sticker inside while driving with it mounted at the bottom of the window. I won't be a Billboard (or boat lol) for long - hoping to make some progress on the CCB window stickers in time for the August Breakfast.

So from a MUCH earlier post -- "Today she gets all of the unnecessary mechanical equipment taken off from under the hood." I assume that means the smog / emissions control piping and the air pump, etc.?
Now with disk brakes, has turned into my sons daily driver while he is home on Christmas break.

Drove to work and someone had a truck and 35 foot trailer in front of where I park...no problem...over the curb I went to get around it. Stopped by Advance as my blinker switch had gotten water in it...replaced it for free...now Ive weatherproofed the switch to avoid the same thing happening.

Haha! Thanks. Those new tires are sweet!!
Got her licensed today, cleaned up my carb and replaced the fuel filter. Running pretty strong for a straight six! :) Also ordered cables for the parking brake.
Need to get the dang driver side door closing better, that brake done and seat done.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Performed last night:
Connected header pipes and new mufflers up;
Finished cover over NP435 tranny (tranny still on shop floor 'cause of the lack of tranny-to-xfer adapter);
Filled new (to this buggy) Dana 44 axle, tired 3 speed tranny, xfer case, old 9" ford rear axle;
Put cotter pins in new tie rod assembly;
Reconnected engine (carberator, heater, etc);
Reinstalled, cleaned up and filled battery;
Inspected new (to this buggy) front disk brakes;
Tried to start it and ended by scratching my head over why it wasn't pulling fuel out of the tank.

Floor pans and one of the inner fender to kick panel joints will need patching. Aside from that a few small dents and scratches. Pretty solid overall. Will make a good temp tub until Val and I get his current tub polished up. Definitely not what I would consider trailer material.
The girl who sold me the tub also has a few more parts available as well. Hard top, windshield frame, front fenders, hood, other misc stuff.
And for you Mustang junkies, her BF has about a dozen 60's Mustangs that he is parting out. Let me know if you need contact info.

Certainly what I need to look at next -- after the engine. My doors sag a bit (passenger worse than driver) and are hard to close and I've got what I am told are "normal" rust spots inside the engine compartment right where the inner fender meets the firewall.

Started tearing my dash out to troubleshoot my no-start issue/possible prep for a new wiring harness. I hate Ford at the moment. Those stupid 7 screws in the dash panel from under the windshield frame added about 30 more minutes on to the job than I wanted.

Got the drivers side floor pan all cut out and the new one screwed in. Ready to be welded. Was just too damn hot outside to be welding. I really need a bigger garage. Was gonna order up my flairs so I cn start cutting fenders before I start prep for paint.
