Ah yes. The dreaded emissions worry. Glad I don't have to deal with that down here.

It should need emissions, at least to get it tagged initially. Needs a TDI swap.

A little above your price range, but I think the turbo boost feature might be worth it.

That Anglia would be very unique and useful.
Plus, you could pretend you are on Chico and the Man.

I have talked to this guy, I love Anglia's he wants $10,000 with no title.
Don't think he really wants to sell it.

I didn't want to say anything cause you guys are finding awesome stuff and I didn't want it to end. I promised my wife I wouldn't buy another project until I replace her car with "not a project" aka. Something new or nearly new.
Doesn't mean I won't jump in something anyway and stash it at a friends house. But for the next few months I'm in lock down :(

I thought the van/truck would have been a shoe in for that.

I agree. I think that's why Chris finally felt guilted into telling us he can't buy something. That and Kirk offering to go pick it up.

Those econoline pickups have a 90" wheelbase. Might be good for a Bronco frame/drivetrain swap.

I've been wanting a pickup. That didn't help. A Bronco framed Econoline pickup with a 4BT...hmmm.

So an econoline pickup on a bronco frame. I think we have come full circle.

There is an old FC Jeep by Zack's place I believe, I don't think his neighbor would sell it.

Two of them actually. The first is owned by a guy with 4 Toyotas and a Super Duty. The second is parked just up the hill alongside a couple of other projects that appeared to have petered out.
