Nah, the author stated that to buy a military Bronco today, a collector would likely have to pay that much.

A friend of mine in TX has (had?) one. Can't recall if he sold it or not. Pretty cool!

Confirmed - the bronco that belonged to my friend is the one this guy now owns. I think my buddy just stumbled upon it and bought it for fairly cheap. Don't know what he sold it for...

Re: Military Bronco 1967
I was seriously considering do an "Ol' Sarge" build on my '66 a few years back. Wanted to go 4BT, full width 3/4 axles with military beadlocks, flat OD green paint with flat black accents, and all military gauges and switches in the truck. Never happened, obviously. But I will be bringing some very distinct military highlights to the '72.

A turret on the hard top with a tool kit from a HMMWV on the back, I would love to have gear reductioned Hubs from one as well as the wheels along with the seats, and big COMMO radio unit in the center. Or Just leave it alone and save up for a M1038 W/W and be happy LOL

I would love to have one myself. A clone or no clone. mine wouldn't fit the bill for a clone unless I yanked the axles back out. Maybe a beefed up Heavy Duty WARFARE style Bronco. Thanks for taking your time to write the articles. History is the best way to learn about ourselves and how to live better lives.
