Starter issues

Post by hockeydad4-22 »

Drew's starter keeps going out - like one a month. His 4th in the last 5 months went out Friday afternoon. I snapped these pictures before he took it in to exchange. Any ideas folks?

Might be the depth of the throw. I know there is a difference between an auto starter and a manual starter. Also the count of teeth on the flex plate can have an effect of how it engages.

How do the teeth on the flywheel look? Also +1 on the auto/manual starter thing.
