Who's looking for a 4x4x2 Box? I was at my local junk yard this afternoon and spotted three 79 Broncos and two 79 Trucks with the hard to find steering box you need to build a 4x4x2 box. They also have plenty of the two wheel drive boxes needed to complete the box. If your interested in doing it let me know. Its up in Greeley. I may even go build myself one or two to sell to fund my Bronco addiction. PM me or Email me for the info. If you have never done it , I'll even go with you and help you put it together. The last few I have built I have put together right in the junk yard so I only had to pay for one steering box.

Even if you had to buy both boxes, you could do it for less than $100. Alot less if you build it in the junk yard and only have to buy one box.

I'm absolutely interested. When are you thinking about doing this? I'm not too far away and have a relatively flexible schedule. Also, do you have a rough idea re: price for just the one box if we build it in the JY?

I'm thinking about going out Sat morning. Building it in the yard, It would probably set you back $45-50. Maybe less, Its been a while since I did one. The hardest part is getting the pitman arm off in the yard. A big pickle fork usually does the job. This yard turns vehicles fast so you have to act pretty quick.

I'm taking my teenage nephews and 3 year old son to see the Harlem Globetrotters on Saturday at 1:00 at the Budweiser Events Center, but might be able to squeeze it in before. Sunday would work better for me if you can do that. If not, I'll make it work.

The Only problem with Sunday is that they are closed. I'm not sure what time they close on Saturday but I'll try to find out what the hours are. If Saturday does not work, maybe next weekend will work. I just don't know what I have going on next weekend yet.

Justin,
I'm going to go out to the salvage yard in the morning. I plan to be there at 8AM I forgot to call them but I believe they open at 7:30 or 8:00. If you still want to go you could just meet me there. I'm going to Anderson's Sales & Salvage Inc 1490 East 8th Street Greeley CO 80631 (303)892-9292. If you decide to go just call me when you get there so I can find you. Look me up in the Member Section for my phone number or shoot me an email at
hoseofjohnson@mac.com and I'll send it to you.

If I go and you get parts I can probably bring them south for you.

Might happen, depends on how much time I have. I have a laundry list of other things I need to look for. If not this time, there will be more I'm sure.
