Hmm that is a good one. Im not sure if it's anything like my 79, on the distibution block there is a plunger that you have to pull out to bleed the brakes.

Was she pumping the clutch? We had a call years ago that ended tragically when this happened......wife was helping pushed in the clutch instead of brakes rolled off the ramps onto the husband.

I love that your wife was out helping. My wife has saved my a$$ to hold a wrench, see if something looks right, help me move something heavy (Roll Bar!), put up with my obsession, and the list goes on and on. However, I may change my attitude if she rolled the Bronco on me

She has helped me pump brakes so many times I couldnt count it. She hopped in and wasnt paying attention. Man was she embarrassed. I didnt relize the problem until I got to the front and seen the clutch pedal moving. LOL! I said he dear! Might want to take a look at what pedal you are pushing! She is gonna kill me for this but it was funny as hell after the fact and its a great story to tell.
I havent been on the boards all week and now I am kicking myself for missing this one.

it's awesome that she comes out and helps , mine will only come out to lift up something then it goodbye.
