Mystery holes. Factory?

Anyone know what these might be for?
Driver side has same lower hole. No hole/screw on the windshield frame though.

The lower hole is where the door seal screws in I believe.

I can confirm. I just took my door seal off and back on last week so it's fresh in my mind.
